Omega 3minus6 Balance Scores

Each score summarizes 3minus6 data for a food listed in the USDA Nutrient Database. Plan to eat 20 different foods every day. Scores for over 5,000 items show each food's impact on your omega 3-6 status. Learn more at a new wellness website.
- 1- The Omega 3-6 Balance Score compresses data on eleven essential fatty acids into a single score for each food item. More positive scores predict a higher omega-3 balance for your body, and more negative scores predict a higher omega-6 balance for your body. A list of very negative scores helps you NIX 6, and a list of more positive scores helps you EAT 3. You can use a mobile "app" to look at 3minus6 Scores while shopping or planning meals.
